Hi, I’m Giacomo Di Clerico — a Computer Engineering student at Politecnico di Milano, specializing in cybersecurity.

My interest in computing started with a simple question: how does this actually work under the hood? That pulled me toward Linux, then into networking, then into security — and I never really stopped pulling at the thread.

I’m a sysadmin at POuL (Politecnico Open unix Lab), the student association at Polimi built around Linux and open-source culture — where I manage infrastructure and get my hands dirty with the kind of problems you don’t find in a classroom.

My main focus is cybersecurity: system hardening, secure infrastructure, and understanding how things break. Alongside that, I run a Kubernetes homelab at home and have a growing interest in Linux internals and kernel development.

I care about open-source not just as a software preference but as a way of working: knowledge shared, tools built in the open, communities that actually help each other.
